European Standard (EN) 13986

Panels produced in conformity with EN 13986:2004+A1:2015 System 2+ are indicated for structural use in all EU countries. They offer extremely precise dimensional tolerances, uniform thickness, and phenolic resin bonding that provides excellent performance in both dry and humid environments, with low formaldehyde emissions. They stand out for their stringent manufacturing control, ensuring batch-to-batch repeatability and regulatory compliance, making them ideal for projects requiring precision, durability, and safety.

FSC® – Forest Stewardship Council®

Guararapes holds FSC® – Forest Stewardship Council® certification. This international certification allows us to stamp our products Certified FSC® with the FSC® logo, which guarantees that the products are produced with wood from forests that are managed following strict social, environmental and economic criteria, and other controlled sources.

Our objective is the responsible use of the forest resources and wood from other controlled sources, meeting criteria defined by FSC® . Our company has a Wood Acquisition Policy and other procedures to control wood sources, excluding foresting activities that are socially and environmentally harmful.

United States and Canada Construction Code

Panels with this certification indicate that they are in compliance with the requirements of the construction code of the United States and Canada for industrial and structural applications. Therefore, architects, engineers and constructors can be assured that the panels comply with the requirements of this market. Also this certification has been used to ensure quality in other markets, such as Central America and the Caribbean.

The UKCA marking (UK Conformity Assessment) is the product marking used for products being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales).

The UKCA marking applies to most products for which the CE marking could be used. Guararapes follows all technical requirements to use UKCA marking on its plywood products, according to EN 13986:2004 + A1:2015.
